TRAINING

The re-training of staffs of the Centre for Grassroots Economic Empowerment at Equity Resort Hotel continues with members from Ijebu Ode division, Ilorin division and Abeokuta division . It was well attended by the credit managers, branch managers, area managers, divisional managers and the head office team totalling 177 participants.

Highlights of the seminar include:

• On the job training on record keeping: More emphasis was laid on house hold Items and projection.
• Effective communication: this is significant because it helps in employment management, team building, growth of the organisation, ascertain transparency and develop trust.
• Effective customer service delivery: This is what earns your clients’ loyalty and makes them return after they made their first purchase. Major factors include knowing your product\service, know your customers, remain human, solve problems fast, build trust and credibility.

Furthermore, issues of default and how to curb or reduce default was discussed extensively and one major way to curb this is through KYC and proper group formation.
