OUR IMPACT IN THE SOCIETY

  • CGEE has been able to address GOAL 1 and 2 of SDG by reducing poverty in our locality and as a result reducing hunger in our concerned society.
  • CGEE has been able to help a portion of the unemployed youth in its society to gain employment as it has about five hundred staff presently.
  • Through CGEE, our clients who are members of the society are equipped with simple record keeping.
  • Most families are being stabilized through CGEE by giving soft loans to boost the business of the woman in the family.
  • With its presence in almost all major cities of southwestern part of Nigeria, CGEE has been able to provide easy access to loans for women who do not have the required collateral to obtain commercial credit facilities.
  • CGEE has been able to contribute to the business activities of the areas covered through easy access to our credit facilities.
  • CGEE has been able to promote the saving culture of its clients (women in the society).
  • Presently, CGEE program is benefiting the lives of about 100,000 clients. This excludes a large number of clients who have exited the program due to their increased economic status, leaving the program for lesser economic status women to benefit.
  • In order to increase client self-esteem, outstanding clients are being selected all-round the branches to be given awards of commitment and excellence based on their performance and their leadership skills in their respective groups and branches.
